Hunger Action Month is fast approaching and we look forward to making this year's campaign a great success. The goal of Hunger Action Month is to mobilize the public to take action by volunteering, donating, and advocating on behalf of those in need.

WVU HSC Cafeteria's Food Drive
The WVU Health Science Center Cafeterias will be collecting food for Mountaineer Food Bank from March 1 to March 15. Food drive barrels are located by the registers in both cafeterias. The Health Science Center is located in Morgantown, WV next to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
WV Dietetic Association Food Drive
The West Virginia Dietetic Association will be holding a food drive at their annual conference in Jackson's Mill from March 9 to March 11.
"Have a Heart" Food Drive
Mountaineer Food Bank will be holding the 2nd Annual "Have a Heart" Food Drive at the Patrick St. K-Mart in Charleston on February 12 & 13. The food drive will be both Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00. The public is encouraged to drop off food or purchase extra at K-Mart to donate to volunteers in front of the store. This food drive brought in 1175 lbs. of food!

Mountaineer Food Bank is also asking corporations, community groups and individuals to participate in the Give a Little, Feed a Lot campaign.
Participants can volunteer, donate, organize a food drive, or advocate for Mountaineer Food Bank.
Each dollar donated to Mountaineer Food Bank provides eight meals for someone in our community living at risk of hunger.
